Job summary

Matrix Systems Group is seeking a Software Developer to develop and maintain data systems related to Special Education. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience with ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL Server, and support large applications. Located in Springfield, IL, offering flexible employment options including contract agreements.

Qualifications

• Experience as a front-end developer with a diverse user base.

Job Description

Software Developer – The selected candidate will develop and maintain existing and future data systems pertaining to Special Education. Possible projects include a rewrite of the Special Education Database System, assisting with the I‑STAR development program and other projects. This work will enable policymakers, educators and others to access information related to Special Education more easily and ultimately will improve learner outcomes. This assignment is expected to begin in December – January and last for 2–3 years.

This job might be for you if:

• You have at least 3 years of experience with ASP.NET, VB.NET and SQL Server.
• You have experience as a front‑end developer supporting a large application with a diverse user base.
• You have experience with educational data systems (preferred but not required).
