Job summary

Matrix Systems Group is seeking a Software Developer in Bloomington, Illinois, to develop and maintain educational data systems. SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

The selected candidate will develop and maintain existing and future data systems pertaining to Special Education. Possible projects include a rewrite of the Special Education Database System, assisting with the I‑STAR development program, and other related initiatives. This work enables policymakers, educators, and others to access information related to Special Education more easily and ultimately improves learner outcomes. The assignment is expected to begin in December–January and last for 2–3 years.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience with ASP.NET, VB.NET, and SQL Server.
• Front‑end development experience supporting a large application with a diverse user base.
• Experience with educational data systems (preferred but not required).
