Job summary

Toccata Inc is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join its Development team in Boca Raton, FL. You will help build, maintain, and enhance systems behind our transaction processing and payment operations.

This role focuses on C#/.NET development within the payments/fintech space, collaborating with Product and Scrum teams in an Agile environment to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of professional coding experience.
• 5+ years of C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core experience.
• 5+ years developing and supporting production .NET applications.
• 5+ years working with SQL Server or other relational databases.
• 3+ years of experience in fintech, payments, or e-commerce.
• Hands-on experience with financial transaction processing systems and payment workflows.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reconciliation processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement new features defined by our Product Team.
• Develop, maintain, and support back-office transaction and payment processing systems.
• Design efficient technical solutions for new and expanding product capabilities.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and resolve application functionality problems.
• Identify opportunities to improve product design and functionality.
• Write and execute automated tests to support quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and Scrum Masters in an Agile environment.
• Help identify technical bottlenecks and challenges before new features go live.

What You'll Do

Required experience includes:
