Job summary

RF-SMART is seeking a senior JavaScript application developer for our NetSuite-based product. This role, based in Jacksonville with a hybrid schedule, focuses on back-end components in Node.js and integrating with NetSuite SuiteScript. You will collaborate within an agile team to deliver robust features.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of JavaScript experience, strong OO design skills, and experience with Web API and SPA patterns. Knowledge of NetSuite/SuiteScript and Knockout is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of professional JavaScript experience with Node.js.
• 6+ years of application development experience using object-oriented programming.
• Experience with Web API consumption and SPA design and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain an application built for NetSuite written in JavaScript and SuiteScript.
• Write server-side web application logic in JavaScript.
• Translate requirements into usable features within the product using JavaScript.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code while making it reusable and extendable.
• Coordinate and participate in code reviews with the product team and other departments.

Software Developer - RF-SMART for NetSuite

Who We're Looking For

RF-SMART is currently seeking an experienced JavaScript application developer to work with an agile development team to build and maintain an application built for NetSuite written predominantly in Node.js. Node.js developers develop back-end components, connect the application with the other web services, and support the front-end developers by integrating their work with the Node.js application.

What You'll Do:

Working as part of an agile development team to enhance and maintain an application built for NetSuite written in JavaScript and SuiteScript

A SuiteScript developer is responsible for writing server-side web application logic in JavaScript

Translating requirements into usable features within the product using JavaScript

Writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code while making it reusable and extendable

Coordinating and participating in code reviews with the product team as well as other departments

Working with the quality assurance team to validate changes and assist writing WebDriver test suites

What You Bring:

BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience
