Job summary

RF-SMART is seeking a senior JavaScript application developer for our NetSuite-based product. This role, based in Jacksonville with a hybrid schedule, focuses on back-end components in Node.js and integrating with NetSuite SuiteScript. You will collaborate within an agile team to deliver robust features.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of JavaScript experience, strong OO design skills, and experience with Web API and SPA patterns. Knowledge of NetSuite/SuiteScript and Knockout is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of professional JavaScript experience with Node.js.
• 6+ years of application development experience using object-oriented programming.
• Experience with Web API consumption and SPA design and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain an application built for NetSuite written in JavaScript and SuiteScript.
• Write server-side web application logic in JavaScript.
• Translate requirements into usable features within the product using JavaScript.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code while making it reusable and extendable.
• Coordinate and participate in code reviews with the product team and other departments.
• Work with QA to validate changes and assist writing WebDriver test suites.
