Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and demonstrate feature-rich software for DoD, federal, and commercial clients. The role participates in the full SDLC and explores research through proof-of-concepts and prototypes.

A strong candidate actively codes in modern languages and collaborates with teams and clients while clearing a U.S. government background investigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline
• Minimum 6 years of professional software development experience
• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to complete a U.S. government background investigation
• Experience programming in one or more of the following: C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Experience developing backend applications and API implementation
• Relational and NoSQL database experience; DoD environment experience preferred

TEKsystems is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support Department of Defense, federal, and commercial clients by designing, developing, deploying, and demonstrating feature-rich software applications. This role will participate in the full software development lifecycle while contributing to research initiatives through proof-of-concepts and prototype development. The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer who actively develops in modern programming languages, collaborates effectively with engineering teams and clients, and stays current with emerging technologies. Candidates must be able to successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Niceville, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $70.00/hr.
