Job summary

The Software Developer associates will join our team of experienced information system associates and provide support to our teams developing business applications at the corporate office in Fargo, ND.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering projects with current technologies, contributing across the full application life cycle, and writing/maintaining source code across our platforms.

• Contribute across the full application life cycle, from concept and design through build, testing, release, and ongoing support
• Write and maintain source code across our application platforms
• Help strengthen our QA practices by suggesting improvements to testing processes, tools, and automation
• Learn about the business, including the people, processes, and goals behind each project, so solutions solve the real problem
• Seek out opportunities to simplify, automate, or improve existing processes, and share those ideas with the team
• Bring a figure-it-out mentality: take on unfamiliar problems with curiosity, dig in, and know when to ask for help
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, working to understand root causes
• Learn new programming languages, tools, and technologies as needs change
• Collaborate with and learn from experienced developers, IT teams, and business stakeholders
• Manage assigned tasks to meet deadlines, adjusting as priorities and requirements change
• Assist in developing technical specifications and documentation

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements
