Job summary

Scheels All Sports, Inc. is seeking a Help Desk - Point of Sale Specialist to join our fast-paced POS team at the corporate office in Fargo, ND.

You will assist multiple store locations with troubleshooting register problems and launching new technology and processes. Responsibilities include diagnosing POS issues, delivering excellent customer service, and traveling to new store locations to train and set up POS systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate's degree in a business-related field or equivalent retail/cash register experience.
• Excellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service support on our point of sale system to all Scheels locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot daily operations, programs and system problems.
• Maintain excellent customer service and communication with colleagues and customers.
• Be organized, detail-oriented and capable of multitasking across priorities.
• Travel to new store locations to lead/setup/train POS systems when needed.
• Implement solutions from design through to delivery, ensuring corporate strategies are supported.

Overview:

The Help Desk- Point of Sale Specialist will join a fast paced point of sales team to assist our multiple store locations with troubleshooting register problems and launching new technology and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service support on our point of sale system to all Scheels locations
• Diagnose and troubleshoot daily operations, programs and system problems
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (written / verbal)

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an associate's degree in a Business related field and/or; retail and cash register experience preferred

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
