Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior .NET developer in Colorado to design and maintain secure web applications for government-oriented portfolios. You will work across UI, API, and database layers, implementing C#, .NET Core 8+, Razor Pages, and Blazor components, while ensuring code quality and security.

In a SAFe Agile environment, you will contribute to code reviews, CI/CD, and documentation of architectural decisions, with citizenship and clearance eligibility required to work on sensitive projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with BS/BA (12+ with high school diploma).
• Strong experience in C# and .NET 8+/ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, component design, RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SQL Server databases, queries, and objects.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; 12 years of experience with a high school diploma
• Strong experience developing and maintaining web applications using C# and .NET 8+/ASP.NET Core
• Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript, component-based application design, state management, and RESTful APIs
• Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases, including SQL queries, stored procedures, table and column definitions, and database objects
• Experience designing and maintaining applications within an established architecture
• Ability to troubleshoot full-stack application issues across UI, API, database, and hosting layers
• Experience with Git-based development workflows, branching, merge/pull requests, merge conflicts, peer code review, and automated build/test processes
• Ability to carry development tasks from requirements clarification through implementation, testing, code review, feedback remediation, and completion
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to participate constructively in peer code reviews and incorporate feedback
• Ability to document technical decisions and share knowledge
• Experience developing secure web applications and applying secure coding practices
• Experience using AI-assisted software development tools while reviewing, validating, testing, and understanding generated code
• Must be U.S. Citizen
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
