Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a software professional to design and build scalable enterprise solutions. You will participate in solution design, translate business needs into technical requirements, and craft design documents and specifications.

The role covers backend C#/.NET development and frontend Angular work, with SQL Server as the database backbone. You will contribute in an agile team, perform code reviews, and support production releases with a focus on security and reliability.

• Participate in solution design for a wide range of business needs


• Analyze and translate business requirements into technical requirements


• Create design documents and technical specifications


• Adhere to technology and security best practices and standards


• Provide post-implementation support, including application performance monitoring and debugging existing code


• Keep abreast of technology advancements and identify how new technologies can provide business solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and/or a related discipline or work experience preferred


• Preferably 2-5+ years of software development experience


• Strong proficiency in at least one key competency


• Backend web services development in C# with .NET


• Frontend web application development using TypeScript/JavaScript with Angular


• Component libraries and WCAG & Section 508 expectations


• Efficient SQL and relational modeling; SQL Server preferred


• Git, branching, pull requests, readable commits, and code review


• Automated unit and integration testing


• Secure coding practices and security/compliance requirements informed by NIST


• Software dependency and secrets management
