Job summary
Expedia Group’s 2027 Global Summer Internship Program offers a Software Development Engineer Intern role in Seattle. You will contribute to web applications and e-commerce sites, building high-volume, scalable solutions while learning through tailored training and mentorship.

Qualifications
- Familiar with at least one programming language (e.g. Kotlin, Java, Python).
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with partners.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software components and services under guidance, contributing to well-scoped features.
- Implement clean, maintainable code with unit testing and reviews.
- Participate in API design, data modeling, and low-level system design.
- Collaborate with mentors and cross-functional partners to translate requirements into solutions.
- Apply data structures and algorithms to improve code quality and performance.
- Leverage AI/ML-enabled workflows within defined guidance and scope.
