Job summary

Expedia Group’s 2027 Global Summer Internship Program offers a Mobile Engineering Intern role in Austin, Texas. Interns will join Expedia Group teams, contribute to real projects, and receive tailored learning experiences and mentorship to build knowledge and community.

As part of the internship, you will design and implement mobile features for iOS and Android, work with AI-driven systems, and participate in leadership and career development activities.

Qualifications

• Must be available for full program dates May 24–July 30 or June 21–August 27.
• Must graduate with undergrad or master’s in a technical field between December 2027 and July 2028.
• Must be willing to relocate to the job location and be graduating from a university in the same country as the internship.
• Must have no more than 2 years of professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mobile app components for iOS and/or Android.
• Implement clean, maintainable mobile code with unit tests and reviews.
• Participate in low-level system design and data modeling for mobile features.
• Collaborate with peers, mentors, designers, and partners to understand requirements.
• Apply data structures and algorithms to improve mobile app quality and performance.
• Learn to work with AI/ML-enabled solutions within guidance and scope.
