Job summary

Expedia Group in Seattle is seeking a Software Development Engineer Intern to join a global tech‑driven internship program. You will contribute to web applications, e‑commerce sites, and scalable services while learning with mentors and structured onboarding.

You will work on real projects, receive mentorship, participate in Leadership Series, and have opportunities for a full‑time offer after graduation. The program follows a hybrid work policy with competitive compensation and career

Qualifications

Must be graduating with an undergraduate or master's degree in a technical subject between December 2027 and July 2028.
Must be willing to relocate to Seattle if outside commuting distance and graduate from a university in the same country as the internship location.
Must have no more than 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
Familiarity with at least one programming language (Kotlin, Java or Python) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test software components and services under guidance of experienced engineers.
Write clean, maintainable code with unit tests and code reviews.
Participate in API design, data modeling, and low‑level system design for tasks.
Collaborate with peers, mentors, and partners to translate requirements into solutions.
Apply data structures, algorithms, and problem‑solving to improve quality and performance.
Explore AI/ML‑enabled workflows and safely integrate them within defined scope.
