Job summary

Amazon Connect is seeking a Software Development Engineer II (SDE2) to own end-to-end software development, from design to deployment, within the AWS Solutions landscape. You will contribute to scalable, resilient systems and collaborate with senior technical leaders across AWS.

You’ll work on a modern stack including web technologies, SOA, NoSQL, AI/ML, and big data, always keeping the customer at the center. A passion for learning and collaboration is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

• Own code end‑to‑end from design to development, and work closely with senior technical leaders within the team and across AWS.
• Design and deliver scalable, resilient systems while maintaining a constant customer focus.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
