Job summary

Amazon AWS Healthcare AI is hiring a Software Development Engineer II to design and build scalable cloud-based healthcare AI services. You will contribute to new v1 services and enhance existing ones like HealthLake, Comprehend Medical, and HealthScribe.

You will work with product managers, applied scientists, and other engineers to deliver features, participate in reviews, and help maintain high operating standards across compliant healthcare solutions.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional software development experience.
2+ years of design or architecture experience for systems.
Experience programming with at least one software language.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, efficient software systems for healthcare AI services.
Write high-quality, well-tested code for cloud-based healthcare applications.
Collaborate with product managers, applied scientists, and other engineers to implement features.
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Help maintain operational excellence and compliance with industry standards.
Work on data processing, analytics, and ML systems for healthcare applications.
Contribute to technical discussions and drive continuous improvement.
