Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer to build AI-powered healthcare solutions at scale. You will design, implement, and deploy cloud-based services that use generative and agentic AI to improve clinical and administrative workflows for providers.

You will collaborate with product managers, researchers, and engineers to advance the healthcare AI platform, ensuring high-quality code and reliable operations while enabling rapid experimentation and iteration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for large-scale systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale distributed software applications.
• 1+ years of OO design experience.
• Experience with distributed computing, programs and systems.
• Familiarity with ML concepts and practical applications.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain AWS healthcare services using cloud computing and AI technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute on our product roadmap.
• Implement and optimize machine learning models for healthcare applications.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for scalable, reliable, and efficient cloud services.
• Ensure high standards of code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and CI.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept to delivery and maintenance.
