Global Store (GS) and Core Exports (CE) enable cross-border shopping for Amazon customers globally. CE serves customers in over 200 destinations and shopping on 11 Exports-enabled stores by offering access to over 177 million products at competitive prices, with a localized shopping experience and reliable delivery. GS complements the local flywheel in 14 countries across 59 source-destination pairs, creating an integrated shopping experience that allows customers to shop Amazon’s international selection on their local Amazon or third-party websites. GS abstracts cross-border fulfillment processes to make shopping seamless, providing access to competitive pricing, local currencies, cross-border delivery, returns, exclusive deals, local payment methods, and customer service.
Description: The AEE Selection Tech team seeks an experienced Software Development Engineer eager to innovate how products are made available, sold, and distributed globally. This role involves building new tools, services, and distribution structures across Amazon’s expanding footprint, delivering unprecedented selection and pricing for over 100 million customers, and pushing beyond traditional cross-border norms. The candidate should excel in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, collaborating across diverse e-commerce topics and demonstrating expertise in multiple areas.

- 2+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship)
- 2+ years of experience in system design or architecture, including reliability and scalability
- Proficiency in at least one programming language
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
