Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Seattle seeks a Software Development Engineer II for Selection Monitoring — Catalog Enrichment. You will design, build and operate systems that aggregate products and enrich data at web scale, collaborating with data scientists to improve coverage and data quality.

You will own features end-to-end from prototype to production, embracing innovation and rapid deployment in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data processing platforms for product selection monitoring.
• Collaborate with data science teams to enable analytics capabilities and improve data quality.
• Build and maintain multi-system integrations with high reliability and observability.
• Take ownership from prototype through testing to deployment and ongoing improvements.
