Job summary

Amazon in Bellevue, WA is seeking a professional software engineer to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to conceive, design, and deliver innovative products and services. You will design, implement, test, deploy and maintain software that optimizes services, reduces costs, and enhances security.

You will review code, own outcomes, and build solutions for running predictions on distributed systems at immense scale.

Qualifications

3+ years non-internship software development experience
2+ years design or architecture experience with design patterns, reliability and scaling
1+ year of software development engineer or related experience
1+ year designing and developing large-scale distributed software applications
1+ year of Object Oriented Design experience
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS, Engineering, Math, or related field

Responsibilities

Collaborate to conceive, design, and bring innovative products to market.
Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain software to drive service optimization, cost, and security.
Provide insightful code reviews and own outcomes.
Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to scalable technologies.
