Job summary

LHP Engineering Solutions in Glendale Heights, IL is seeking an Application Engineer - Software & Controls to join the Advanced Systems Team. The role focuses on software and hardware support for mobile/off-highway electronic control systems and HMIs.

You will develop application software using MATLAB, Simulink, C/C++, and Codesys, simulate and test on vehicles or in the lab, and provide on-site customer support for innovative vehicle systems.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in technology; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of software coding experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, C/C++, or Codesys preferred.
• EEO/ADA statements and work authorization compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical software and hardware support for electronics controls and HMIs.
• Develop application software for mobile/off-highway systems (MATLAB/Simulink/C/C++/Codesys).
• Simulate, test and validate software in lab or on vehicles.
• Offer on-site customer support and accompany Sales Managers to locations.
• Develop and implement functionally safe software for customer solutions.
