NOV is seeking ambitious college graduates for a Software Engineering Intern role in the Rig Technologies unit, located in Houston, Texas. The program starts in June 2027 and runs during the summer of 2027, offering hands-on software design and debugging experience on drilling equipment and related applications.

You'll work on the software engineering career track with a focus on documentation, customer support, and cross-team collaboration in a large team environment.

Responsibilities

Following thesoftware engineeringcareer track, the primary responsibilities are as follows:

  • Design and write software for drilling equipment and/or applications
  • Assistin the development and maintenance of software documentation including updates after release
  • Provide support for the implementation, training and troubleshooting of software products
  • Develop and de-bug software products prior to release
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot associated hardware as required
  • Work with customers (internal/external) and review project defining documents to understand project requirements
Qualifications
