Principal Consultant - Automation & Control Systems

We're partnering with a leading innovator in building automation technology, part of a global provider of intelligent climate and energy solutions. Their systems help commercial buildings run smarter, more efficiently, and more sustainably — from HVAC to lighting and beyond.

We're looking for a Senior Controls Software Engineer to join their team and play a key role in developing, configuring, and deploying advanced Building Automation Systems (BAS) for large-scale, mission-critical facilities.

What You’ll Do:

• Program control logic and graphical user interfaces for BAS platforms
• Configure site-specific systems and develop control sequences
• Integrate third-party systems using protocols like BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, etc.
• Support commissioning of complex systems (e.g., chiller plants, large-scale integrations)
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
• Identify and communicate project risks and opportunities

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of BAS programming and interface design (or 7+ years with a diploma)
• 3+ years of experience with third-party integration protocols
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with automation tools and networking concepts
• Experience with complex HVAC systems and building operations is preferred
