Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Robotics Engineer with hands-on expertise in FANUC robot programming and industrial automation systems. This role is integral to designing, developing, and supporting advanced robotic systems for a variety of manufacturing applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, edit, and troubleshoot robot programs using FANUC TP (Teach Pendant) and KAREL. Utilize RoboGuide for simulation and offline programming.
• Integrate robotic systems with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) using industrial protocols like Ethernet/IP and ProfiNet.
• Develop and modify Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) to improve usability and diagnostic capabilities.
• Design robotic cells and workstations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols such as light curtains, safety scanners, and interlocks.
• Perform on-site robot setup, position teaching, I/O mapping, sequence validation, and full functional testing.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in robotic systems, including hardware, software, and network communications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.
• Proven experience with FANUC controllers (e.g., R-30iA, R-30iB).
• Familiarity with RoboGuide simulation software is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of PLC programming and integration, including Allen-Bradley or Siemens platforms.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, ProfiNet).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in teams.
