Job summary

ARA Brand in Raleigh, TX is seeking a Software Cloud Engineer to collaborate on secure cloud-based software solutions. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on delivering technically superior solutions in the physical sciences.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, relevant experience, and current security clearance. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and programming languages like Go and Python is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current DoD Secret Clearance (or higher) is necessary.
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience required.
• Must successfully obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 60 days.

Software Cloud Engineer Position Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship (No exceptions; green card holders are not eligible).
• Current DoD Secret Clearance (or higher).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a closely related field with 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
• Successfully acquire and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access
• Successfully obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+, CCNA-Security, etc.) within 60 days of hire.
• Good oral & written communication skills
• Excel as a team player and strive to maximize team & department performance
• Willing to work on-site, daily, at our Raleigh, NC or San Antonio, TX location

• Understanding of software development and its best practices specifically when designing and building Cloud-native and Kube-native software applications
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitLab, ArgoCD
