Long Term Contract: 16-18 months (possibility of extension)

Overview:

We are seeking a ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) and Entitlements Specialist to support a long-term initiative focused on licensing, compliance, and asset data integrity. This role plays a crucial part in managing Microsoft and Oracle licenses, loading entitlements, and prioritizing publisher relationships to reduce risk and optimize cost.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and maintain entitlements (software licensing) within ServiceNow
• Manage and track Microsoft and Oracle licenses
• Ensure asset data integrity and provide actionable insights from asset records
• Support software compliance efforts and proactively identify security-related issues
• Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize publisher relationships and license management strategies
• Help inform pricing decisions and contract negotiations
• Potential to grow into a role overseeing publisher strategies and relationships

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro, especially around entitlements and license management
• Strong understanding of IT asset management (ITAM) principles and software licensing
• Familiarity with Microsoft and Oracle licensing structures
• Experience in compliance and software security risk mitigation
• Ability to analyze data and drive insights for cost optimization and risk reduction
• Strong communication and vendor management skills
• Preference for a candidate based in Denver, though remote flexibility is available for the right fit
• Long-term contract with potential to extend and grow within the role
• Price sensitivity is a factor in final selection
