CohesionForce, Inc. is hiring a DevSecOps and Release Engineer to design, automate, and support secure software delivery in Huntsville, AL. You will improve CI/CD, software supply-chain assurance, and release coordination across multiple services and environments.

The role emphasizes secure automation, reproducible builds, and inventorying deployment data while coordinating with multiple teams to ensure timely, compliant releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, cybersecurity, IT, or equivalent with 7+ years of experience, or 5+ years with Master’s.
• Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines for multi-service software products.
• Experience with Git, Linux, containers, Kubernetes/OpenShift, scripting, and IaC.
• Experience integrating automated quality and security checks into release workflows.
• Experience with artifact repositories, container registries, and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain reusable CI/CD pipelines, build automation, test stages, and release workflows.
• Integrate code analysis, container scanning, SBOMs, signing, and provenance into delivery pipelines.
• Manage container images, artifacts, versioning, and release records across registries.
• Automate Kubernetes/OpenShift deployment validation with GitOps, Helm, Kustomize, and IaC.
• Coordinate multi-team releases ensuring dependencies, approvals, and inputs are ready.
• Develop tests for integration, upgrade, rollback, and recovery with engineers.
• Investigate failures and implement durable fixes; maintain release procedures and recovery docs.
• Measure deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, and recovery time.
