An established industry player is looking for a passionate Softball Travel Team Head Coach to lead young athletes in their development. This role involves coaching players, running practices, and participating in tournaments, all while fostering a positive and encouraging environment. Coaches will also have opportunities to provide private lessons and lead instructional classes at the training center. Frozen Ropes in Natick is a year-round indoor baseball and softball training center focused on player development and growth. Since 2006, it has provided instruction for players of all ages and abilities, aiming to offer a positive sports experience and help them reach their goals on the field. The center also runs a softball travel program for ages 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U teams. Tryouts are held in August, with weekly practices throughout fall and winter, and teams compete in weekend tournaments during spring and summer.
Frozen Ropes is seeking experienced head coaches for the upcoming season who understand our principles and serve as role models for our players. The softball players participate in ASA and NSA tournaments and receive professional instruction and team practices during late fall, winter, spring, and early summer.
Qualified candidates will also have the opportunity to serve as instructors at our training center, providing private lessons or leading instructional classes. These responsibilities and compensation are separate from the travel team coaching position.
