Job summary

Chandler Unified School District 80 is seeking an Athletic Coach at Bogle Junior High in Chandler, AZ. The role is stipend-based, outside the standard contract, reporting to the Athletic Director, and includes duties such as planning practices, coaching during games, and maintaining safety and discipline.

Starting immediately, the candidate must have DPS IVP clearance, a valid AZ driver’s license, CPR/First Aid/AED, and NFHS coaching certificates.

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona Driver’s License is required.
• DPS IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• CPR/First Aid/AED Certification required.
• NFHS Course Certificates listed above are required per sport.
• Additional course certifications may be required by sport type.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct practices developing individual and team athletic skills.
• Teach sport-specific fundamentals, strategies, and rules.
• Promote student-athlete growth, sportsmanship, and character.
• Supervise and manage student-athletes during practices and games.
• Prepare teams for competitions and coach during games.
• Prioritize athlete safety and follow injury prevention protocols.
• Communicate with students, parents, administrators, and athletic staff.
• Assist with program administration including equipment, records, and documentation.
• Comply with school, district, and athletic association rules.
