Job summary

Talentify is seeking a soft count clerk in Laughlin, NV to support the Revenue Count team in the casino. The role involves counting revenues from all departments, reporting funds from slot machines, and maintaining confidentiality in a busy environment.

Your duties include sorting and recording currency, ensuring accuracy of drop totals, and upholding safety standards. Strong basic math and computer skills are required; high school diploma or GED is needed.

Overview

SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Soft Count Supervisor, the soft count clerk is responsible for counting the revenues from all departments in the casino, both gaming and nongaming. Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for collecting funds from slot machines.
• Responsible for accurately reporting and documenting the amount of funds received through gaming play.
• Assist in sorting, counting, and recording of currency in the Count Room.
• Count the revenues from all departments in the casino, both gaming and nongaming.
• Must maintain the strictest confidentiality of any, and all sensitive information.
• Complete reported drop totals accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
