Job summary

Sellers & Associates, LLC in Tampa, FL is seeking a Senior SOF Specialty Trainer SME to support SOF mission delivery and training oversight. The role provides senior-level expertise, advises leadership, and ensures training aligns with customer requirements and contract objectives.

Responsibilities include developing strategic training plans, maintaining current SOF doctrine, coordinating global services, and delivering executive-level briefings and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• DoD Instructor Qualification Course completed or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in the specialty area.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military/operational experience.
• 10+ years supporting USSOCOM or related SOF missions.
• Experience in SOF operations, global mission support, logistics, intelligence, or training.
• Experience developing or overseeing training programs.
• Ability to work in austere, high-tempo, multinational environments.
• Ability to prepare executive-level briefings and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on SOF mission support and service delivery.
• Input into strategic planning for SOF education and training.
• Maintain knowledge of current SOF doctrine and emerging technologies.
• Coordinate global services for SOF customers across theaters.
• Develop relationships with SOF international partners.
• Analyze needs and develop solutions to improve readiness and efficiency.
• Review policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist with program management: schedules, deliverables, risk mitigation, performance tracking.
• Develop reports, briefings, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
• Oversee training programs to ensure personnel readiness for SOF mission requirements.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Provide instruction and knowledge transfer to staff and customers.
• Identify emerging mission requirements and drive enhancements.
• Provide reach-back support for time-sensitive operational issues.
