Job summary

ATS is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I to operate on-site at Fort Campbell, KY. The role focuses on maintaining, wiring, and troubleshooting avionics and electrical systems on SOF aircraft MH6/MH47/MH60, and involves documentation and adherence to technical publications.

The candidate should be a U.S. citizen with a secret clearance or ability to obtain one, possess own tools, and demonstrate experience with army aviation and relevant aircraft types.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen with a valid driver's license.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a secret security clearance.
• Must have own tools/toolbox.
• 6+ years' experience in Army aviation. SOF aviation experience desirable.
• Experience with MH6/MH47/MH60 aircraft desirable.
• Experience with ACN or other electronic logbook systems.
• Must have or be able to pass Basic solder certification.
• Must be able to pass solder vision testing.
• Must be able to pass a basic physical to be a part of an aircraft towing team.
• Must be able to climb on or around aircraft and use maintenance stands to conduct work.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace aircraft wiring and components; troubleshoot electrical systems per publications and IETMS.
• Assist with teardown, inspection, and repair during phase maintenance events.
• Use multimeter and avionic test sets to maintain and troubleshoot systems.
• Read schematics and maintenance data to determine repair methods.
• Perform administrative actions for aircraft forms and records.
