Job summary

Barbaricum is seeking mission-focused Mid-Level Operations Domain Systems Engineers to support USSOCOM and Joint Staff. These engineers enable real-time decision-making by supporting C2 systems, COP tools, and related operational technologies across global missions.

This role bridges operational requirements with technology, ensuring units are equipped to execute dynamic missions through COP, OAI management, and mission command systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of progressive technical experience supporting operations or intelligence communities.
• 4+ years in mission planning for aircraft weapons systems, navigation systems, tactical comms, and C2 platforms.
• Development and execution of peacetime/wartime SOF missions.
• Working knowledge of Joint and SOF operational tools and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for SOCOM and Joint Staff operational and targeting cycles.
• Train and assist users on programs of record such as COP Management, OAI Management, CCIR, TADL and other C2 systems.
• Participate in working groups across AoR such as COP, Joint Fires, Sustainment, Protection, and TADL.
