Barbaricum is seeking mission-focused Mid-Level Operations Domain Systems Engineers to provide support to U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), its Components, and Joint Staff counterparts. These engineers will enable real-time decision-making by supporting and enhancing Command and Control (C2) systems, Common Operational Picture (COP) tools, and other operational technologies across global mission sets.
This position is essential to bridging operational requirements with technology, ensuring units are fully equipped and trained to execute dynamic missions through effective use of COP, Operational Area of Interest (OAI) management, and mission command systems.
Provide engineering support for SOCOM and Joint Staff operational and targeting cycles.
Train and assist users on programs of record such as:
Participate in working groups and forums across AoR such as:
Analyze unit-specific operational technology gaps and report findings to SOCOM.
Collaborate with regional GSSE leads and Joint Task Forces to ensure synchronized support.
Minimum 4 years of progressive technical experience supporting operations or intelligence communities.
At least 4 years of operational experience in:
Working knowledge of Joint and SOF operational tools and platforms.
Familiarity with task organization, mission command principles, and support relationships.
Candidates will have proficiency or high potential to gain some level of proficiency to enable and train software capabilities across three "domains": (1) Operations, (2) Intelligence warfighting functions and (3) tactical Mission Planning and Execution domain
Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
