Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience or training.
  • 2+ years of directly relevant experience in apparel, knit, or accessories product development, with a strong focus on craft, quality, and manufacturability.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; experience with 3D software or knit programming systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of knit product development process from concept through production, including yarns and raw materials, knit structures, costing, manufacturing, and machinery.
  • Ability to understand detailed product specifications that interpret design intent and propose alternative solutions when needed.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment while managing multiple seasonal projects.
  • Ability to act as a technical resource, lead product review sessions with energy and positive influence, and apply problem-solving, decision-making, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% (domestic and international).

Responsibilities

  • The Technical Developer II will work on assigned styles within the Socks category. You will work closely with fellow Developers, Product Management & Design partners to update tech packs, collaborating with our cross-functional and factory partners to communicate design intent, materials, construction sketches, and graphic placements.
  • You will track and request prototypes, manage and meet calendar target dates, attend meetings that relate to their product’s development and communicate progress and challenges to their team and leadership as needed.
  • You will lead proto review sessions with cross-functional partners, collecting feedback and capturing comments that will lead to an on time confirmable buy-ready product.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field
2+ years experience in apparel product development
