Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a master’s degree with 18 hours of graduate work in the teaching discipline.
• Minimum two (2) years teaching experience in higher education or one (1) year teaching and three (3) years employment in the field.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers instruction on Sociology topics.
• Administers, grades, and communicates progress of students.
• Develops curricula and instructional materials such as syllabi and assignments.
• Maintains office hours and assists in student recruitment and retention.
• Complies with FERPA in record-keeping and reporting.
