Overview

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to children assessed as needing therapeutic services.
• Attend FTC and other related case conferences for children assessed as needing clinical support.
• Assist parents and children in carrying out our treatment plan.
• Make home visits and collateral contacts to meet ACS and OCFS requirements.
• Provide in-home and in-community behavior management, therapeutic, and developmental support to children with complex needs.
• Support specific behavioral goals as developed by the treatment team.
• Create, develop, and implement daily experiences for the children that promote self-esteem, socialization skills, and prepare children for family unification.
• Perform child/youth care functions relevant to daily home care, ADL skills, scheduling, and setting plans for respite and crisis intervention.
• Document progress notes in CONNECTIONS.
• Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with at least 2 years of experience working with children and families.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficient; knowledge of Connections is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Hybrid: 2 days home, 3 days in office.

Additional Requirements

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work in-person in New York City (NY) for at least 3 days or more per week.
• Ability to travel to other Rising Ground sites (if required).

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary for this role is $47,840. Rising Ground offers competitive compensation based on the midpoint of the market among not-for-profit organizations of similar size. We believe in compensating staff members fairly in relation to each other, their qualifications, and their impact on behalf of the organization.
