Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group, LLC is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to support students in a Brick, NJ setting. You will provide counseling, crisis intervention, and collaboration with families and school staff to promote social-emotional well-being and academic success.

Qualifications include a graduate degree in social work, current NJ social worker license, NJ DOE certification, NJ CHR, and prior school-based case management experience.

• Experience in school-based settings is preferred.
• Experience with case management is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, support, and intervention services to students.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students' social-emotional well-being and academic success.
• Assist with crisis intervention, behavioral planning, and community resource coordination.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP and student support meetings as needed.
