• Less than 1 year experience as a Licensed Masters Social Worker.
• Hospital Social Work experience is preferred.

Job Description

Responsible and accountable for assessing the psychological, social, emotional, cultural, and/or financial needs that impact patients' health and recovery. Provides professional social work services utilizing supportive counseling and clinical knowledge to assess the needs of patients and families during illness, crisis intervention, and post-discharge planning. Collaborates with healthcare team members to develop transition plans and addresses needs promptly. Participates in program planning and development to meet the needs of customers within the healthcare system and community.

Education Required

• Certified LMSW
• Missouri Social Work license
• Master's Degree in Social Work
• Hospital Social Work experience is preferred
