Job summary

Three Rivers Behavioral Health is a 136-bed treatment facility delivering behavioral health and substance abuse services for adolescents and adults, with inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. This PRN role provides case management and psychotherapeutic services within an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality treatment for patients and families.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in Social Work (LMSW/LISW in SC preferred) and have or are pursuing licensure;

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or equivalent master’s degree in a recognized mental health field.
• LMSW/LISW in South Carolina preferred.
• Strongly prefer one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains effective working relationships with NARC, Admissions, the Business Office, Physicians, and Nursing staff.
• Conducts psychosocial assessments to document history and identify preliminary issues for treatment focus by interviewing the patient and their family members.
• Provides group and family process-oriented therapies as well as conducts educational and other didactic groups for patients and family members using various professional treatment modalities.
• Initial discharge plan formulated and noted on psychosocial with 72 hours of admission.

This is a Per-Diem (PRN) position.

JOB SUMMARY: To provide quality case management and psychotherapeutic services to adolescent and/or adult psychiatric patient population and their families, spouse, significant other; to serve as a member of interdisciplinary team supporting the organization's treatment program and philosophy and assure the deliverance of quality treatment to psychiatric patients and their families.
