Job summary

Mass General Brigham’s Spaulding Rehabilitation Cape Cod unit seeks an Inpatient Social Worker to join an interdisciplinary team. The role focuses on psychosocial assessments, care planning, and facilitating patient-centered treatment plans within a renowned rehabilitation setting on Cape Cod.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work required or Master's Degree in Mental Health & Behavioral Medicine.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) preferred.
  • Experience in medical settings and crisis intervention is valued.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; ability to document and coordinate care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' medical or psychosocial needs as part of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with patient-centered goals.
  • Provide psychosocial assessments of patients and families and document progress.

They work collaboratively with all healthcare team members to develop and implement treatment plans that support patient-centered plans of care for both individual patients and the medical community.Does this position require Patient Care? Yes-Provides psychosocial assessments of patients and families with social, emotional, interpersonal, and/or environmental issues.
