Job summary

University Health is seeking a social worker who counsels and assists patients and families with personal and environmental challenges that affect illness and access to care. You will be part of a multidisciplinary health and mental health team delivering patient-centered services.

Required: a Master’s in Social Work from CSWE-accredited program and Texas licensure; plus at least one year post-master’s experience in health care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from CSWE-accredited school is required.
• One year's post master's degree experience in a health care setting is preferred.
• Current state licensure from the Texas Department of Human Services is required.
