A Master's degree in Social Work is required; three years of current social work experience and at least one year of supervision experience are preferred; licensure by the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners is required.
Provides professional level skills required in the clinical practice of social work, affording direct and indirect services to clients in health settings and working with a multidisciplinary team in evaluation and treatment planning for individuals, families and groups. Offers a broad spectrum of social work services to clients with a multiplicity of needs. Serves as a role model and clinical trainer for other staff, establishing priorities for self and peers, ensuring that services are rendered in a prompt, efficient and effective manner. Actively supports the policies and procedures of the University Health.
A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited school, three year's current experience in social work and demonstrated level of clinical social work skills indicative of ability to engage in self-regulated practice are preferred. Minimum of one year providing supervision to social workers or other related fields is preferred.
State licensure by the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners is required.
