South Texas Health System is seeking a Clinician in the Social Work field to collaborate with patients and families in a healthcare/psychiatric setting. The role emphasizes social assessments, counseling across individual, family and group modalities, and discharge planning to support successful transitions.
Ideal candidates hold a Master's in Social Work and Texas licensure (LMSW or LCSW), with bilingual Spanish preferred.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clinician will be responsible for working with patients and their families. This will include social assessments, individual / family / marital / counseling, group therapy, patient/family education, discharge planning and other modalities as applicable.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Experience in health care or psychiatric setting preferred.
2. Bilingual preferred (Spanish).
3. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.
EDUCATION / LICENSURE:
1. Master's Degree in Social Work
2. Must be licensed through the State of Texas (LMSW; LCSW)
