South Texas Health System is seeking a Clinician to work with patients and families, providing social assessments, counseling, discharge planning, and education. The role supports individuals, families, and groups in a psychiatric/healthcare setting.
The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Social Work and Texas LMSW or LCSW licensure, with experience in a healthcare or psychiatric setting. Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred to assist diverse patient populations.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clinician will be responsible for working with patients and their families. This will include social assessments, individual / family / marital / counseling, group therapy, patient/family education, discharge planning and other modalities as applicable.
