Catholic Health is seeking a Per Diem Social Worker to join our team at Good Samaritan University Hospital on Long Island. The role involves engaging with patients and families, participating in assessments, consultations, and evaluations, and staying current with evolving clinical practices.

Required are a Master's in Social Work, NY licensure, LMSW/LCSW, and BLS certification; 2+ years medical social work experience is preferred.

Qualificações

We are looking for a Per Diem Social Worker to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Maintain involvement with patients and families and participate in staff consultations, assessments and evaluations
• Keeps informed of the latest professional practices and trends and performsother duties as assigned

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work
• Minimum of 2 years medical social work preferred
• New York State Licensure
• Clinical experience preferred
• Must display proficient MS Office and strong keyboarding skills
• Certification as a LMSW or LCSW required
• Must be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)- American Heart Association only accepted.
• Acute medical hospital experience and/or experience in a health care environment preferred

Salary Range

USD $52.08 - USD $52.08 /Hr.
