Job summary

Griffin Health in Derby/Shelton, CT seeks a Psychiatric Social Worker to provide comprehensive psychiatric/mental health services within an intensive outpatient program. You will apply advanced clinical practice, principles, and theory to patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include a Master’s level clinician with LMSW; LCSW is preferred. Experience with group therapy and co-occurring disorders is advantageous. Hours are Monday–Friday, with some evenings.

Description

MAIN FUNCTION: Psychiatric Social Worker needed to provide comprehensive psychiatric/mental health services to patients utilizing advanced clinical practice, principles, and theory in an intensive outpatient program level of care.

HOURS: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 5pm, with 1-2 evenings until 7pm

TRAVEL:Local travel between sites (Derby, Shelton)

EDUCATION: Masters Level Clinician, with degree from an accredited school with specialization in psychiatric social work.

EXPERIENCE: LMSW required but LCSW preferred. Experience with group therapy and co-occurring disorders preferred.
