Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Student Support and Interventions
  • Provide direct case services addressing academic, social, and emotional concerns, including check-ins, small groups, conflict resolution, crisis intervention, home visits, and community service coordination.
  • Conduct home visits to facilitate communication between parents/guardians and schools.
  • Offer crisis support for attendance, social/emotional health, and school environment issues.
  • Support student adjustment, attendance, academic achievement, and mental health.
  • Coordination and Collaboration
    • Serve as liaison for compliance with attendance laws.
    • Collaborate with schools on social-emotional issues.
    • Coordinate community resource utilization.
    • Consult on child abuse and neglect cases.
    • Act as liaison with community agencies.
  • Planning and Program Management
    • Assist in program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
    • Conduct needs assessments.
    • Develop intervention plans.
    • Advocate for services.
    • Participate in professional development.
  • Data Collection and Reporting
    • Complete reports and maintain documentation per policy.
    Physical Demands

    This is an itinerant position requiring travel between schools. Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, hear, sit, use hands, reach, and occasionally climb or balance. Must frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
