Gwinnett County Schools is seeking a School Social Worker I to provide direct support and interventions for students' academic, social, and emotional needs. The role involves collaborating with schools, conducting home visits, and advocating for student services. Ideal candidates will have a Master's degree and experience in social work. This position requires travel between schools and the ability to manage various physical demands.
License and Certification: Certification by the state of Georgia as a school social worker required.
Education: Master's degree in a related field required.
Experience: Two years of successful social work experience post-master's preferred.

This is an itinerant position requiring travel between schools. Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, hear, sit, use hands, reach, and occasionally climb or balance.
