Job summary

Hospice of Central PA is seeking a part-time Social Worker for Home Hospice to collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to provide social work interventions, education, counseling, and support for patients and caregivers in the greater Harrisburg area.

The MSW requirement and licensure within two years, plus the ability to complete 4-5 weeks of orientation, are essential. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• MSW required; LSW or LCSW must be obtained within two years from date of hire.
• Position covers the greater Harrisburg area.

Social Worker- Home Hospice

Part Time 0.5

Day Shift (Tues/Wed 8-5, Fri 1/2 day)

Every 5th weekend and 2 holidays per year

This role works in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team to provide social work interventions, education, counseling and support services to address the identified psychosocial needs of patients and caregivers.

MSW required, LSW or LCSW must be obtained within two years from date of hire. This position covers the greater Harrisburg area. Must be able to complete 4 - 5 weeks of a FT, day shift orientation.
