Job summary

Sheppard Pratt Careers seeks a licensed social worker to provide a wide range of services to a child and adolescent caseload in Towson, MD. You will complete psychosocial assessments at admission and work with patients and families to monitor progress.

You will lead daily group psychotherapy sessions, collaborate with the treatment team, and ensure clear communication about patient care throughout the plan and discharge processes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work and MD state license (LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC or LCPC) required at time of hire.
• Experience providing psychosocial assessments and group therapy in a clinical setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with treatment teams and families.

Job description

• Provide a wide range of social work services to an assigned caseload of patients on the Child & Adolescent Service Line in support of established treatment plan goals and discharge plans
• Complete a comprehensive psychosocial assessment on each patient assigned at time of admission
• Meet individually with patients on caseload as well as with families and/or significant others to monitor and evaluate progress
• Conduct daily group psychotherapy session for assigned patients; leads a wide array of psycho-therapeutic groups in conjunction with other members of the treatment team
• Communicate all aspects of patient care to treatment team members

Requires: Master's degree in social work and a MD state license (LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC or LCPC) at time of hire and continually throughout tenure in position.

The salary range for this position is based on licensure and experience $62,386.69 to $108,576.83.
