Job summary

Southcoast Health’s Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA seeks a licensed Social Worker-Counselor (LICSW/LMHC) to join the Social Work team. This day-shift role provides assessments and psychotherapy to individuals and families within a hospital setting, under the Manager of Social Work, with 24 hours/month.

Responsibilities include staff consultation, coordinating with chronic care and community services, and delivering brief treatment modalities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Massachusetts LICSW or LMHC license.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with electronic medical record documentation preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or have an accepted exemption.

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital – Fall River, MA.
Shift: Day shift (8:00 am – 4:30 pm).
Hours: 24 hours/month.

Overview

Under the Manager of Social Work, provide behavioral health and complex care management services in a hospital setting. Duties include assessments, psychotherapy, staff consultation, and coordination with chronic care and community services.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay rate: USD 35.70 – 50.24 per hour, determined by experience.
